For the 2023-24 year, NOAND is in the process of transitioning from an external district of the Louisiana Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (LAND)

to a region of LAND.

 

What does this mean for New Orleans RDs and future dietitians interested in joining?

• We will no longer be collecting separate annual NOAND dues but will still be hosting both in-person and virtual events throughout the year.

• If you are an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Member and have designated Louisiana as your home state, you are automatically considered a member of NOAND and can participate in our events for no additional charge! 

• If you are not an Academy member or live in another state, you can still choose to participate in our events by paying the stated fee for that event.

For this year, we still plan to host monthly CEU opportunities including journal club discussions. Stay tuned to your email and follow us on social media for more information on upcoming events!
